Poetry and creative writing workshop. 1
My intention with this workshop was to cultivate creativity, imagination and connection.
My objectives were aimed at developing the children's capacity for reflection, to encourage collaboration and to develop the trust in themselves.
My objectives were to teach them some habits that helps them cultivate the soul. ( for example drinking tea, having chats on different subjects, eating mindfully)
I worked to enliven their authenticity, their own voice and the trust in their own abilities.
I worked with different forms of poetry specifically adapted for their age.
The workshop was held in Romanian and English.
The tangible results of the workshop are:- the poetry book 6 Friends with illustrations made by the Romanian artist Maria Brudasca. The illustration were inspired by the children’s texts.
- A facrbook blog for highschool that was initiated with the workshop.

Children’s feedback after the workshop
"Pentru mine aceasta experienta a fost minunata , m-a făcut sa simt spiritul echipei , am învățat ca pot mult mai mult dacă exersez. Mie mi-a plăcut complet totul. Când eram la acest atelier simțeam ca fac natura sa zambeasca . Am învățat multe lucruri noi și distractive . Atunci cand te uitai la ele păreau plictisitoare ,dar înăuntru lor se afla o adevărată poveste minunata care te facea sa zâmbești." (G. 12)
"A fost o activitate minunata , frumoasa și eu cred că ne-am apropiat mai mult decât eram înainte . Aici am învățat mai multe tipuri de poezie , sa compun texte mai bine și să am mai multă inspirație . Experiența este una de neuitat" (M.12)
"Feedback-ul meu dat activității este de 10 deoarece aici am învățat cum să scriu texte mai bine, să fac poezii mai interesante și să socializez mai bine. Aceste activități au fost distractive, interesante și foarte captivante." (T. 13)
