The program at School of Heart is established according to the needs of the children and the school.
What do we learn at through School of Heart?
- to express ourselves creatively, to recongnize our existen potential, to listen, to communicate, to be brave, to be ourselves, to act with integrity, to be transparent and not corrupt, to love, to eat healthy, to live simple, not eat sugar, to do the dishes, to drink tea, to be in nature.
- to write poetry and creative texts
- to speak in public
- we learn English
The program is both in Romanian and English.
*** In our previous programs we had dance workshops, writing workshops, personal development, drawing workshops, all aimed towards the participant's soul and emotional well-being.
The Summer School happened beginning on the 20th of July 2022 and finished on the 28th of July 2022. The locations for the summer school activities were the villages Teaca and Lechința in Bistrița-Năsăud, county.
The second edition of the poetry and creative writing workshop happened between October 29th, 2021, and April 15th, 2022, online.
My intention with this workshop was to cultivate creativity, imagination and connection. My objectives were aimed at developing the children's capacity for reflection, to encourage collaboration and to develop the trust in themselves.
There were 6 transformative days with movement, dance , drawing, exploring nature, games, cooking and living together.
